Litany for the doom of Materasura
During the 1997 Navaratri Puja evening program in Cabella, the Swiss Sahaja Yogis presented a play where they openly denounced the Swiss bank (about its money laundering etc.). Ultimately, they recited this “Litany for the doom of Materasura”, a Prayer to H. H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi for the doom of Materasura – the demon of materialism. The YouTube video of the Swiss Sahaja Yogis’ play is also below.

HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – 4th Day of Navaratri, Eve of Navaratri Puja, Talk: Materialism, Nature and Balance & Evening Program Cabella Saturday, October 4th, 1997
“Materialism comes because people have gone mad with their greed. I was searching a house in England – went round to see houses, and I was surprised that all kinds of plastic things and mixed things and all that, were piled up in mountains in every house, mountains!
And you pass through a door you will find two legs of a pant falling on you. But not only in England, same in Paris: I’ve seen people accumulating so much of nonsense that they don’t know where to put it and what to do. This madness is on and on and on.
Now, I have found out a solution for Sahaja Yogis, what they should do. They should try to encourage handicrafts.”HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – 4th Day of Navaratri, Eve of Navaratri Puja, Talk: Materialism, Nature and Balance & Evening Program Cabella Saturday, October 4th, 1997
