Jai Shri Mataji!
In preparation for next month’s global Navaratri celebrations, we wish to offer highlights from the International Navaratri Puja held in Cabella on 2nd October 2022.
The program will include Shri Mataji’s full lecture with highlights and music from the Navaratri Puja ceremony. The theme of Shri Mataji’s talk is “Develop Wisdom Through Meditation, Bhakti & Shraddha”, from Her 2002 Navaratri Puja in USA.
During Navaratri, we celebrate the many aspects of the Devi who incarnated to destroy the negativity that attacks Her devotees. Shri Mataji has described the importance of Navaratri as… “with the help of the many incarnations of the Devi is the one which has brought you to Sahasrara. Without the help of the Devi at different stages of your ascent, you could not have been in a position to receive your Realisation.”
Let’s gather as one collective at our Divine Mother’s Lotus Feet to enjoy Her loving vibrations.
Bhakti (devotion) and Shraddha (faith)
“But this bhakti is to be enjoyed. I don’t know how to create bhakti within you – that I can’t say. But I have seen people with bhakti, they have achieved great heights, though it’s a left side movement.
With the left side movement they have achieved great heights. I don’t know how the bhakti (devotion) and shraddha (faith) has helped them so much. In this, I must say, Indians are the best because they have this power of bhakti and of shraddha. It’s not madness, it’s not madness as they have here: I have seen people who get into some sort of a cult or something, they go mad. It’s not madness, bhakti is love, and love which is understanding, which understands what is bhakti and shraddha.
Unless and until you develop that bhakti and shraddha within you, you cannot rise, you cannot rise above your problems, you cannot rise above your personality because bhakti is something you cannot impose on anyone, you cannot force on anybody.”
