for the Australian 2026 Census Form

With the 2026 Australian Census being held on 11 August 2026, we have received a number of enquiries from yogis about how to complete the Religion section of the Census.
We recommend that Sahaja Yogis nominate “Sahaja Yoga Meditation” as their religion when completing the Census.
Using the same description consistently will help ensure that the Census data provides a clear and accurate reflection of our collective.
We encourage all yogis to nominate “Sahaja Yoga Meditation” in the Religion category when completing the 2026 Australian Census.
