An appeal to the Collective for financial support of Sahaja Yoga
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Sacred time of Diwali
At this sacred time of Diwali, when lamps are lit in every home and every heart, we remember the eternal victory of light over darkness, of love over ignorance, and of divine abundance over material limitation.
It is the time when we bow before Shri Lakshmi, the Goddess of generosity, balance, and auspiciousness, the embodiment of the giving heart. HH Shri Mataji has taught us that Lakshmi is not only wealth, but the inner quality of dignity, balance, and generosity, which expresses itself through the sharing of our blessings for the good of others.
The material expression
In the same way, HH Shri Mataji has gifted humanity with the greatest treasure of all the living experience of Self-Realisation. Through Her boundless compassion, HH Shri Mataji established Sahaja Yoga in every corner of the world, so that each of us might grow in our spirit and awaken to the truth of who we are. Yet, as HH Shri Mataji often reminded us, the work of Sahaja Yoga, the upkeep of Her centres, the spreading of
Her message, and the nurturing of new seekers requires not only love and dedication, but also the material expression of that love through the collective’s ongoing regular financial support.
It is through this Lakshmi principle that the subtle and the material come together in harmony. When we give with open hearts our offerings support HH Shri Mataji’s divine work. Our generosity is fundamental. When we share what we have been blessed with we express gratitude to HH Shri Mataji who has given us everything.
This Diwali, we humbly appeal to every Sahaja Yogi to reflect upon HH Shri Mataji’s vision, a vision of a world transformed by the light of the spirit and to make a conscious commitment for ongoing financial support to sustain and expand the work She has entrusted to us.
Generosity of the collective
Every centre, every collective that gathers to meditate, every seeker who receives Realisation all depend upon the continued strength and generosity of the collective. Your offering, whether large or small, is an act of love of the heart in support of Sahaja Yoga and keeps alive HH Shri Mataji’s own sacred structures established for the spiritual evolution of humanity.
Let us, therefore, on this occasion of the festival of lights, each of us commit to making a regular offering as an act of devotion, not as duty or obligation, but as a joyful expression of our generous support for HH Shri Mataji’s work.
Let us light our inner lamps and offer our outer light, so that Sahaja Yoga continues to illuminate hearts and homes throughout Australia and across the world.
