Jai Shri Mataji!
As you may be aware, the bushfire went into Balmoral Village today.
Many houses in the Village were destroyed by fire, including our neighbours’ houses immediately north and south of Shri Mataji’s Ashram.
We understand that the bushfire reached within 40 metres or so of the Ashram buildings before a wind change (a strong southerly) resulted in the fire moving away from the Ashram. A workshop was destroyed, and much vegetation was burnt.
The firefighters apparently stated that our property was an oasis amongst the fire. The image below shows the fire activity around our property but as the Fire Chief commented in a blackened field in the area, all of our buildings were saved which seems to be an act of God.
We had asked Simon (our caretaker) to leave the property when the final call was made by the Fire Service to leave which he did. Unfortunately, another neighbour in Balmoral Village who remained at her property was burnt and is in hospital (and 3 firefighters were also injured fighting the same bushfire).
As part of the Balmoral Village community, Sahaja Yoga will do what it can to assist at this time.
Let’s continue to pray to Her Holiness Shri Mataji for the end of the bushfires and for rain in drought affected areas of Australia.
We are always protected by Sakshat Shri Adi Shakti so we will proclaim Her Divinity to the world!
