Camp information
Dear Yogis,
The NSW collective would like to invite you to the Sahaja Yoga Children’s Camp 2022.
The Children’s Camp is going to be held at HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Centre at Balmoral from Thursday 29th December 2022 to Sunday 1st January, 2023.
This camp will be a wonderful opportunity for Sahaja families from all around Australia to come together and enjoy the collectivity, with a focus on nurturing the spiritual roots and Sahaja culture of our children age 15 and under.
The bringing up of our children in Sahaj culture is our collective responsibility and we would like to invite parents to volunteer their assistance with meal preparation, collective meditations and children’s’ activities.
Cost
- Adults: $21 per day
- Child 12 years and over: $10 per day
- Child under 12 years: $5 per day
Payment will be collected on your arrival at the camp.
Accommodation
It is preferred if families could bring their own tents and camp out as a means of adults practising social distancing. Please bring a sleeping bag, bed sheet and pillow case, warm clothing and sensible footwear as the weather can be unpredictable and Balmoral is very rural!

Registration
Please fill in the Registration form below as soon as possible for catering and planning purposes. Each adult attending is asked to allocate themselves to two areas of hosting of the camp via the registration form.

Registration Form
- Use this form to register an Adult or Child (17 years and under).
- Register one person per form.
- The same email address can be used for everyone in your group/family.
Conditions for attending the Camp:
- To book a place in the Camp, you please complete this Registration Form.
- The registration fees are to cover the costs associated with hosting and running the camp and can be paid on arrival at the camp.
- In order to share the workload, all attending parents and guardians are kindly requested to take part in the hosting duties in support of running the Camp.
- Children under 18 years of age cannot be left at the Camp without one parent or a nominated adult guardian attending. This person must be capable of and responsible for making decisions about the health and safety of the child in an emergency.
- As would please Shri Mataji, everyone at the camp is requested to attend collective morning and evening meditation, which is a very important aspect of our Camp.
- Child Safety – All adults (18 years and over ) attending the camp must comply with government regulations and must have at least a valid voluntary WWCC Check / Green or Blue Card or equivalent, as required by their state or territory of residence. We cannot allow anyone to attend without this clearance. This applies to all collective events. Please see more details here.
