Jai Shri Mataji!
Please see below a link to an application form for the Entertainment Evenings during the upcoming Easter Puja weekend at Shri Mataji’s Balmoral Property.
Please read the following points before completing your application form:
- The main Entertainment Evenings are Friday 19th and Saturday 20th April. The evening after the Puja is a less formal, more spontaneous evening.
- Please be as clear as possible as to the length of your performance. Last year a number of the Acts were somewhat longer than the length stated on the form. The night is always young but we don’t want to go too late (unless Shri Mataji wishes this for us!).
- If you are presenting a play that has specific/sophisticated lighting etc requirements, you would need to organise these in advance. There is a simple lighting setup in the Puja Hall.
- If you need time to rehearse in the Puja Hall (e.g. a play or a dance), please indicate this on the application form and we will try to negotiate this within the weekend schedule. (rehearsals during meal breaks are often the best times)
- If you know of a Yogi/Yogis/Yoginis who have the ability to lift the vibrations through their performances but are a bit shy, please encourage/assist them with completing an application form.
- Thank you to those who have already indicated that they are happy to perform. Please now use the link below for the application form.

Divine Rhythm
HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – the Musician of all Musicians
From Press Interview with “Canberra Times”, Canberra 20 March 1990.
Interviewer: “I observed last night that the musicians assisted in making the atmosphere wonderful. Do You think that the music is important in making the Kundalini rise in meditation or in Sahaja Yoga?”
HH Shri Mataji: “Yes it’s a devotional music. And a musical, devotional music if is sung by people who are Realized souls, reaches your heart, reaches your Kundalini also and helps a lot to awaken them. So if there are – these are all Realized souls who were there, the dancer, everybody. The dancer was playing the rhythm and the rhythm is a Divine rhythm because she’s now become a Realized soul, she’s connected with the Divine. So when she dances, she creates a divine rhythm and when these people sing, they also sing a Divine devotion. Otherwise, without connection, if you sing the praise of God, it doesn’t reach God because you’re not connected like a telephone which is not connected.”
