On the 2nd of February 2021, a large uncontrolled bushfire swept through the hills east of Perth towards our beloved Gidgegannup Ashram. What transpired over the next four days was the manifestation and expression of the benevolence, grace, and unlimited love of HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

Our Mother dreamt of four buildings as a swastika to grace the hills above Perth as Her place.
Our Sahaja songs sung are just like prayers offered to the heavens raining down upon us.
The men and women of the West are warriors of God’s army, the saints marching on the pilgrim’s path.
Their hammer was like swords in their hands, they did not sleep, they did not rest as they built and built and built.
They continue to come back and back to Gidgegannup until their work was done.

Then, one clear bright day their work done; Mother’s temple rose from the good red Earth of the West.
Gidgegannup nestled forever in the green hills above Perth where we raised Shri Mataji’s Temple and made our home.

Shri Mataji’s Temple in the West, our Sahaja home, we offer the Holy words of praise and mantra.
Our hymns fill the sweet air above the building of Gidgegannup, Our Mother’s home in the hills.
Our worship offered over the years, fills the sacred night sky and they come back down to us as sweet reverence.
Upon the hill above the waters of the lake, our beautiful ashram of Gidgegannup stands tall and strong.
There rests our Temple where we join together to worship the Goddess.

Then the fire and the storm came, all good people headed the call fleeing while their hearts yearned for their homes.
In the midst of the fires, the winds howled, the embers flew, the bushfire raged like the hot storm of a wild tempest.
The moon was red, smoke filled the evening sky, from the brown earth the tall grasses and the trees burnt.
Fire fell from the whole sky falling upon Gidgegannup.
The world was spinning around and around, the prayers of the Sahaja Yogis from around the world reach the stars, filling the sky.
Our Mother’s places are sacred upon the Earth, our prayers were heard, nature bent to Her will.
The diamonds of the night sky shone, Our Mother answered our prayers, Her Hand was upon Gidgegannup, saved.

We will never fail to tell the seekers of the Glory of Our Mother, over the clear and cold sea may the seekers come to Our Holy Mother.
At Gidgegannup, Our Mother’s name rings out like silver, it rings out like gold, it rings out to call to all seekers to come home to their Holy Mother.
Our Mother’s name rings like the clear call of a bell from the hills over Perth from our home at Gidgegannup.
