Happy Diwali to all Sahaja Yogis
Jai Shri Mataji
Dear brothers and sisters,
At this sacred and auspicious time of Diwali the Festival of Light our hearts turn once again to the eternal flame lit by our beloved Mother, Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. It is through Her infinite compassion, wisdom, and love that we have been awakened to the reality of our Spirit and have come to know the joy of living in the light of the Divine of Sahaja Yoga.
Diwali is the celebration of light over darkness, truth over illusion, and the triumph of the Spirit over all that seeks to obscure it. Yet, beyond its outer beauty, it is also a profound reminder to every Sahaja Yogi that we are the living lamps of the Adi Shakti Herself, kindled by Her divine hand to shine in this world and guide others to the light of truth.
Shri Mataji has told us that Sahaja Yogis are one being, one body, one heart, the living cells of Her divine being. She has given us all a second birth, awakening us to the reality that we are instruments of Her will, manifestations of Her love, and channels of Her compassion. In each of us burns a spark of the Divine Mother’s fire: pure, eternal, and transforming.
At this time of Diwali, the call before us is clear. We must set aside all our differences, opinions, and small identities, and rise once again in the spirit of universal generosity of the Spirit, the magnanimity of the Sahaja heart. For what truly matters is not who we are individually, but how we together uphold Shri Mataji’s vision for the world, a vision of collective ascent, of spiritual transformation, of humanity united in the light of love.
Let this Diwali be a moment of re-dedication, a reaffirmation of our faith, humility, and devotion. Let us turn inward to the silence of our Spirit and feel the vibrations of unity, forgiveness, and compassion flowing through us as one collective body.
Many Yogis have journeyed to Hiawatha for the National Diwali Puja, that sacred place which Shri Mataji Herself called “Mahalakshmi’s gift to the collective.” May that gathering become a shining beacon of collective joy and renewal, a living expression of what it means to be true Sahaja Yogis: humble before the Divine, loving towards each other, and unwavering in our service to humanity.

Wherever we are, whether in Hiawatha or in our own homes, let us join together in spirit, lighting our diyas, meditating deeply, and offering our love to the Lotus Feet of our Divine Mother. Each flame we light represent the shining Spirit within us and our commitment to carry the torch of Sahaja Yoga into the world.
Let us remember that this divine work taking Shri Mataji’s light to every corner of the earth is not accomplished by words but by the depth of our love, the sincerity of our meditation, and the purity of our hearts. It is through our dedication, compassion, commitment, and collective support that Her vision continues to unfold. This Diwali, may we become once again the nirmalites, those who carry the light of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, reflecting Her purity, spreading Her fragrance, and sharing Her boundless love. Let every Yogi feel Her presence within, and may our collective rise as one luminous being, shining with the brilliance of Her divine love.
With hearts overflowing with gratitude, let us bow to our beloved Mother who has given us everything, our light, our joy, our unity, and our eternal place in Her heart.
May this Diwali awaken in us the limitless light of the Spirit, and may that light guide all humanity home to the truth.
With deepest love, reverence, and joy in Shri Mataji’s Lotus Feet,
Life Eternal Trust
