Jambut (India) Public Program financial appeal

(The village of Jambut is located in Maharashtra, India.)

Jai Shri Mataji!

Dear Yogis,

Supporting Shri Mataji’s Jambut School

Sahaja Yoga Australia has been a generous benefactor supporting the establishment of Shri Mataji’s Jambut School, culminating in January 2017, when Music of Joy hosted a Self Realisation India Tour and attended the official opening of Jambut School.

13,000 receive Self Realisation

The public program hosted gave self realisation to around 13,000 local villagers. Many attended a truly memorable occasion from the surrounding cities and villages. Also attending the program was the Maharashtrian Minister for Revenue (see link)

In December 2019, a further  program was held where 3,000 people attended and received their self-realization. Thanks to everyone for your support and giving this opportunity to all the villagers from this rural region of India.

The Jambut school would not be possible without the generous support of Sahaja Yogis from Australia  – and, on behalf of all the children and the villagers of Jambut, we  would like to thank everyone, all Sahaja Yogis, on behalf of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi High School for everything you have done.

Music of Joy visiting Jambut in 2023

Music of Joy will be Touring India as part of Shri Mataji’s 100th Birthday celebrations and will be returning to Jambut to visit the school and be part of a major public program planned for the 1st of April 2023 . The programme will be similar to one shared or possibly larger with invitations being issued to all 33 villages in the surrounding valley between 17th March to 30th March 2023, inviting everyone to attend the programme.

The ground capacity of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi High School can hold around 20,000 people.  The farmers from the village will be hosting the program and providing accommodation and food to many of the people who attend . The local villagers are of modest financial means. There are significant  costs involved  with hosting the program associated with printing, advertising, flowers, stage and sound systems, posters, transport, tents,  cooking and support arrangements for 15,000 people. The costs are in the range of tens of thousands of dollars.
