Mother’s Love Childcare High Tea Fundraiser
3pm Sunday 23rd September, 2018
12 Clarence Street Burwood
Dear Yogis,
Jai Shri Mataji!
We are happy to announce that Mother’s Love Early Education and Childcare Centre are hosting a high tea on September 23rd at 3pm to raise funds for an expansion to the centre.
Tickets are $50. Please invite all your friends and family to experience this wonderful event! Please email [email protected] to reserve your place.
We have been very lucky to have the support of the collective over the years and we are asking for your support once again to help us continue this important Sahaj work.
Since the centre opened in Burwood in 2001, many children, both Sahaj and from the local community, have passed through our doors. Although the centre must adhere to the secular rules and regulations governing childcare centres, the Vibrations and love of our Mother are ever present and are working on the children all the time. Families are counselled and guided by the vibrations, bringing them back to the centre and a happier family life.
Shri Mataji said that half of all children in Australia are born realised and therefore providing a childcare centre for all of the children in the local area is important Sahaj work, as it gives them a chance to experience Her love. She also expressly told us to buy the property next to Burwood Ashram and turn it into a preschool. During Her visit in 2006/2007, Our Mother used to sit in Her room with the windows open, listening to the little children playing.
Over the years, many children have experienced the love and care of the centre and had their kundalinis awakened. Many parents and staff have also been introduced to Sahaja Yoga. Meditation sessions have hopefully instilled the practice into the young minds and hearts of future yogis and awakened their seeking. Many former students return years later to visit as it holds a special place in their heart. In today’s society, there are few true sanctuaries for children that protect their innocence from the commercialisation of childhood; Mother’s Love is such a place. It is integrating Sahaja Yoga into the community.
However, due to increased competition in the area, Mother’s Love is looking for ways to survive. As we are a not-for profit organisation (we were granted official charitable status in 2016), we need a certain number of children to be enrolled at the centre for all our costs to be covered. In order to do this, we want to increase our facilities so we can start to provide care for one-year olds as well. We hope this will make us more competitive and enable us to provide the service for Sahaj children for many years to come.
Mother’s Love was created by the desire of Sahaja Yogis to have a beautiful place to send their little ones to learn and create bonds with one another. Shri Mataji fulfilled this desire and told us the centre should be legal after many informal attempts were closed by DOCS. We still need this collective desire to keep our centre going.
So please come along to our High Tea! It promises to be lots of fun and there will be delicious food, tea, a silent auction and raffle. Please email [email protected] to confirm how many tickets you would like.
“This is the era where children are going to be born of a very high quality. And we all have to understand that we have to have full understanding and awareness of these great people being born on this Earth and also that we are the people who are trustees of these children. We have to look after them as trustees and to guide them properly.”
H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi – Shudy Camps England 2nd February 1988
