This is just a brief message to let everyone know we’ll be attending to our normal National Councillor selections this coming weekend for Victoria, NSW and Queensland (National Councillor appointments for WA and ACT were attended to last year). Vibration checking of candidates names in envelopes will be performed as per the established principles. For Queensland, the National Coordinator is currently also acting as Qld National Councillor, so this will be a chance to split the role and spread the workload in Qld.
As is customary, we’ll shortly be in touch to confirm the availability of prospective candidates who have served in Councillor roles in the past for these appointments as well as current State Councillors, so as to keep some experience, stability and continuity in the Council makeup. Moving forward, when we come to the next round of State Councillor selections, the nominations will be opened to all Yogis.
