Jai Shri Mataji!

55th Year Anniversary

Next Monday 5th May, the Universe celebrates the 55th year anniversary of when our Divine Mother, Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, opened the Sahasrara chakra in 1970 and bestowed the gift of Sahaja Yoga upon humanity.

As Sahaja Yogis, we have the honour and privilege to participate in celebrating in this auspicious event by performing and offering Puja to our Divine Mother.

NSW Puja

For the NSW Collective, Sahasrara Puja will be held this weekend at HH Shri Mataji’s Balmoral property on Sunday 4 May 2025 at 1:00pm. The Puja follows the beautiful Easter seminar weekend held at Balmoral which was full of vibrations and joy. (Watch Puja highlights below.)

This will be an opportunity for all brothers and sisters to come together and to sit at the Lotus Feet of HH Shri Mataji as one united and strong collective to enjoy Her loving vibrations.

Competing events

In the SY NSW Whatsapp group, it was recently announced that an alternative Sahasrara Puja for NSW will compete with the Collective’s Balmoral Puja. This follows the alternative Easter seminar that was held at Bundilla. Further alternative Pujas may consolidate divisions and may lead to a permanent split in the Collective.

The Trustee Directors have been proactive before Easter Puja and Sahasrara Puja to engage with the VND breakaway group to avoid hosting of competing Pujas and for the Collective to stay united.

In the case of the Easter seminar, the VND breakaway group did not want to negotiate reasonable concessions and rejected them by announcing the seminar at Bundilla.

For the NSW Sahasrara Puja, VND refused to have a discussion and rejected outright an offer to look for common ground. If you see a split deepening in the collective, LETA has worked hard to minimise it and will continue to do so. We don’t want it to happen.

The VND breakaway group is holding the Collective’s unity to ransom on the premise of baseless claims, which it has not articulated.

Freedom of choice

Many Yogis reported they were contacted and pressured to attend the Bundilla event. There is a view that Yogis’ freedom of choice and their individual rights are not being respected, and we hope that this does not occur again this week.

All Sahaja Yogis, whatever their views in regard to current difficulties in the Collective, are welcome to attend the Balmoral Sahasrara Puja, as always.

Shri Mataji’s creation

In our preparation for Sahasrara Puja, let’s set aside any differences and stand together as one integrated and loving Collective. By doing so, we can send the clearest signal possible that the Sahaja Yoga Collective is HH Shri Mataji’s creation, and no one has the right to divide brothers and sisters.

Roster duties

For those attending Balmoral, these roster groups are requested to look after the following duties:

  • Set up  – Lotus
  • Cooking – Rose

The Meditation by HH Shri Mataji

“Now at Sahasrara, you have to thank Me. At Sahasrara, put your hand, move it seven times, and thank Me seven times.

Mother thank You very much for the Realisation.
And Mother, thank You very much for making us understand how great we are.
And thank You very much for bringing all the blessings of the Divine.
And thank You very much for raising us higher, much higher, than from where we were.
And also, thank You very much for sustaining us and for helping us to improve ourselves and correct ourselves.
And thank You very much ultimately that Mother, You have come on this earth, taken Your birth, and working so hard for us, for all of us.”
