Request for donations for
SA Ashram/Home and local Fundraiser
Dear brothers and sisters,
Jai Shri Mataji!
By Shri Mataji’s grace, the South Australian Collective purchased a beautiful block of land last year near Murray Bridge, a town about 1 hour (75km) from Adelaide, to build an Ashram/home to fulfil Shri Mataji’s desire.
Next steps
We are now preparing to build and continue our fundraising efforts so a modest Ashram with a suitable meeting room for our collective meetings and Pujas can be constructed on the new land. Behind the scenes, preparations are underway towards choosing the plans for its construction.
Collective support to raise $200,000
With the land already purchased and $190,000 in our bank account, we are seeking further collective support to raise $200,000 so we can begin building the Ashram using a local construction company. Unfortunately, we recent changes to banking restrictions with loans to non-profits, we are not able to obtain a mortgage so hence we need to fund the construction through collective donations.
Our deepest gratitude to all those collectives and individuals who have already contributed to our project over the many past years.

Local fundraiser
As a local fundraiser on Saturday 27th April, we cooked an Indian dinner for 80 people who were family and friends of our collective. The evening was full of delicious treats, fun and laughter with an abundant stall, games to play, henna painting and incredible old Indian melodies, modern songs and Italian singing performances.
A small Altar with Shri Mataji’s photo was placed in the hall and Sahaja Yoga was explained and information about our programs and online classes was shared to all. All the guests were on the periphery of Sahaja Yoga (friends, family and attendees of beginner programs) and the interaction between them and the whole Sahaja Yoga Collective was very positive and joyful. Most were happy to talk about Sahaja Yoga, some took Sahaja Yoga pamphlets, and some said they would attend one of our weekly public meditation programs. It was a great chance to spread Shri Mataji’s vibrations and publicise Sahaja Yoga.
The entire Adelaide Collective worked harmoniously together to joyously raise over $2,500 in funds towards the purchasing of our long-desired Ashram, and help spread Shri Mataji’s vibrations and Sahaja Yoga in South Australia.
We will share more news about the construction of the SA Ashram/home once we have a draft design of the proposed building.
Thank you Prayer to Shri Mataji
Most Holy Mother, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, we Your children of South Australia, thank You from the bottom of our hearts for blessing us with this new property. We seek Your blessings and guidance in finally establishing an Ashram in Adelaide for the spiritual ascent of all the Sahaja yogis and seekers who will come to visit and stay in Your Adelaide home.
