Celebrating the 30th anniversary
With hearts overflowing in gratitude and reverence, we bow to the Lotus Feet of HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of Sahaja Yoga Belapur Health Centre, a sacred milestone in the collective ascent of Sahaja Yoga.
Thirty years in human measure is a span of time. Yet in the subtle realm, Belapur stands beyond time established in vibrations, sustained in love, and nourished by the eternal presence of the Adi Shakti. From the moment of its opening, it was not merely an institution created of brick and stone, but a sanctified space awakened by Divine Will, a living centre of the Mother’s work.
Belapur has become an institution second to none in its contribution to the world collective. It is a place of spiritual transformation where countless Sahaja Yogis have deepened their faith, inner silence, subtle system clarity. Within its atmosphere, the spirit finds nourishment and within the Sahasrara, a silent expansion into deeper thoughtless awareness.
In Belapur, we witness the tangible expression of HH Shri Mataji’s promise: that the inner subtle system can be cleansed, balanced, and illumined through the Kundalini. It is here that the Mother’s powers of balance, clarity, and purity are not abstract ideals, but living realities experienced in meditation halls filled with stillness, in collective programs vibrating with devotion, and in the silent recognition of when the Spirit is felt within.
The true glory of Belapur lies not only in its outer service, but in its subtle offering. It stands as a beacon to the world collective – a place where yogis from around the world join in unity and where the bonds of collectivity are strengthened in vibratory understanding. It reminds us that Sahaja Yoga is not a philosophy, but a living ascent and a place where collectivity is nourished by humility and surrender.
On this auspicious anniversary, we offer our pranams to all who have served, seen and unseen, whose hand’s built, whose heart’s sustained. Recognition of Dr Madhu Rai, the celebrated founding Director. Above all, we bow in eternal gratitude to HH Shri Mataji, whose compassion established this centre as an instrument for the upliftment of humanity.
May Belapur continue to radiate the fragrance of purity, may it remain a fortress of balance in turbulent times. May it deepen our humility, strengthen our surrender, and expand our Sahasrara into ever greater collective awareness.

About the Belapur Centre
The International Sahaja Yoga Research & Health Centre was founded on February 19, 1996 by Her Holiness Shree Mataji. It is located at Shri Nirmala Devi Marg, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai India.
