Sharing blessings from Guru Puja weekend in Wamuran (July 2022)

Over 100 yogis came together on the weekend of 15th to 17th July for the Guru Puja seminar in Wamuran to worship our Divine Mother in Her aspect as Shri Adi Guru.

Dear Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

Guru Puja weekend blessed us all with three days of beautiful clear weather. Shri Mataji’s Wamuran Ashram was lush and green after a rainy autumn, and neat as a pin inside and out.

As always, the Vibrations were powerful and gentle, as the locals and visitors alike breathed out and relaxed when they arrived at our Mother’s home.

This year, saw about 50 Queensland yogis and 50 interstate and international guests arrive, eager to reconnect after all the covid restrictions of the last couple of years.

We had visitors from India, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Canberra.

Saturday was given over to various ‘Choose your own adventure’ clearing activities. We had 10 am and 11 am sessions using Dr Nayana’s clearing sequence of Ganesha Atharvashirsha, Shri Hanuman Chalisa,108 Names Shri Adi Guru Dattatreya and Shri MahaKali in footsoaks and on the earth.

At the same time, we had parallel clearing sessions inside the Puja Hall: 108 Names of Shri Dhanwantari, then soothing Ragas while exchanging Vibrations, followed by the always relaxing onion treatment for Agnya, whilst absorbing the Vibrations of the Bija mantras for all the chakras.

People moved between both sessions as they wished. Afterwards there was a tent set up for ajwan inhale where most of us managed to get a few good lungsful and a good laugh at the same time.

We were all in good Vibrations for the beautiful deep Havan that evening. Everyone felt it was very powerful and cleared the way for Guru Puja the next day.

Although of course we were all pretty detached about it, the food was especially delicious and abundant for the whole Puja weekend and it had an added flavour from being eaten outside around the cozy outdoor heaters.

On Saturday night, the entertainment went till midnight. The acts were amazing and varied from wonderful classical Indian dancing, to various instrumental pieces, original songs, poetry and improvisations, the children singing and much, much more. Again do check out the links below.

Guru Puja came together beautifully, as everyone contributed their particular talents and graces. You can see from the photos that the altar was stunning and the flowers superb.

We were all still and settled from the start with Vibrations flowing and our hearts full throughout.
