Remains at Balmoral Ashram

Jai Shri Mataji!
We are pleased to confirm that the International Easter Seminar and Puja 2025 will remain at our Balmoral property, as it has for the past 17 years. This land was blessed by Her Holiness Shri Mataji for the collective, and it continues to be a place of deep spiritual significance.
In 1996, during the last Sahaja Yoga seminar held at Bundilla Scout Camp, HH Shri Mataji requested the collective to find a property outside the city for future seminars and pujas. In 1997, She blessed us with the Balmoral property, which has since become the home of seminars and pujas. This tradition can only continue with the love and support of the whole collective.

A Divisive Event
We are aware that the newly formed company, VND, established by ex-councillors and their supporters, has announced a separate event over the Easter weekend at Bundilla Scout Camp. Please note:
- HH Shri Mataji gave the Australian Collective specific instructions not to proceed with the formation of a VND Company in 1992 (see below).
- This is part of VND’s ongoing attempt to create division and take over Sahaja Yoga in Australia.
- No Yogi was being excluded from attending Easter Seminar as evident in our public notice about VND https://www.leta.org.au/position-regarding-vishwa-nirmal-dharma-vnd/
All organizations reserve the right to decline invitations to attend a property, and this is a common practice in many situations, especially in the case of misbehaviour. All Sahaja Yogis are welcome to continue offering their worship and praise of HH Shri Mataji at all collective properties within the maryadas of Sahaja Yoga.
As you are aware, earlier this year, in January 2025, the Trustees of Life Eternal Trust took the unprecedented step of retiring the former Councillors, after they established the VND company, which was contrary to the arrangements laid down by HH Shri Mataji for Australia during Her Divine Presence here in 1992 at Shivaratri Puja in Newcastle, and in 1990 after a public program in Canberra.
A Way Forward for Unity
On Thursday, 3 April 2025, Life Eternal Trust proposed a ‘new start and a way forward’ to help resolve divisions within the collective. This proposal for seeking vibrational guidance from HH Shri Mataji at the Balmoral Easter Seminar, transparently, in front of the collective includes:
- Exploring how a future Council and Trust can work together.
- Continuing the work of Sahaja Yoga in the spirit of surrender and unity.
This is not a take-over of the Easter Seminar by the Trustees. The Trustees have always been involved in these, and other events. We are committed to surrendering to vibrations and working together, with all willing members of the collective, to implement the vibrational guidance received.
The Importance of Collective Unity
The announcement of a competing Easter Puja by VND clearly shows refusal to participate in a collective event, to seek vibrational guidance and surrender the outcome to HH Shri Mataji. By doing so, they are creating a situation that:
- Divides the collective, forcing Sahaja Yogis to choose between their brothers and sisters.
- Distracts our attention from what is most important – meditation and spreading Sahaja Yoga.
We must remember
By our actions, we cannot resolve collective issues through rationality and separatism. Claims by VND that this competing event is “supported by vibrations” do not align with Shri Mataji’s teachings, as She never endorsed division through parallel Pujas or groups in Australia (see below)
A Humble Request
We humbly request all Sahaja Yogis to:
- Clear ourselves, as taught by HH Shri Mataji.
- Seek guidance through vibrations.
- Decide what is truly auspicious and what would be most pleasing to HH Shri Mataji.
The National Easter Seminar and Puja 2025 will remain at the Balmoral property, the place chosen and blessed by HH Shri Mataji for such occasions. We request all Sahaja Yogis to support the seminar at the Balmoral property by their attendance and with unity and strength of the collective, not to accept or encourage the attempted split by VND.
Using vibrations and causing division
To help us all better understand some of the important actions and decisions we are taking, individually and collectively, we urge everyone to take the time to listen to Shri Mataji’s 1998 talk – 7th Day of Navaratri, “You all should depend on Paramchaitanya” (Cabella Sept 27th, 1998).

“We don’t understand how our vibrations can mislead us.”
“So all these things are very very confusing, that we don’t understand how confused we are about it. We don’t understand how our vibrations can mislead us. Because vibrations are there, alright. But sometimes, even if they are missing, just to justify yourself, you will say, “We have vibrations and we feel that it is very good, excellent!” And later on you will discover that it is not so.”

“They can divide in the name of religion, in the name of prosperity,…”
“As I told you now, there are people who want to say, divide the country. Simple reason, they want to divide. Now they want to divide because they want to have importance. The few people who want their importance will instigate others, tell them “Alright, we must have freedom. If we have freedom we will have this country for ourselves, then we can develop ourselves”. Or a part of the country which is richer, which is better off, they will think that “It is alright, we will have all the money to ourselves, we will have everything to ourselves.” So they divide.
They can divide in the name of religion, in the name of prosperity, whatever it is. But if you divide the country, actually you are facing a big problem because you have seen that, wherever people divide, they fall into a kind of a dark, dark, dungeon from where they cannot come out. It’s just a few people whose ego is that, they want to have some land as their own.”
