Throughout the festival, dedicated Sahaja Yoga volunteers welcomed visitors to our stand, offering information about meditation, Self-realisation, and shared the teachings of Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Many visitors were curious about the practical benefits of meditation for managing stress, improving wellbeing, and finding greater balance in modern life.
The festival atmosphere was vibrant and diverse, bringing together people from many backgrounds who shared a common interest in personal growth, spirituality, and inner transformation. Among the many approaches and modalities represented, Sahaja Yoga stood out by offering a direct experience of meditation through the awakening of the Kundalini and the attainment of Self-Realisation all at no cost.

Visitors were invited to participate in short, guided meditation sessions and to experience the cool breeze of the all-pervading divine power on their hands and above the fontanel bone area. For many seekers, this was their first experience of the subtle system and the state of thoughtless awareness that HH Shri Mataji described as the doorway to true meditation.
The response throughout the four days was encouraging. Hundreds of people visited the stand, engaged in meaningful conversations with Sahaja Yogis, and expressed genuine interest in learning more about Sahaja Yoga. Many expressed interest about the introductory classes and local meditation programs, providing an opportunity to continue their spiritual journey beyond the festival.

The success of the event was made possible by the dedication and through the collective efforts of Sahaja Yogis from Melbourne, supported by interstate Yogis who all contributed their time, energy, and dedication. Their commitment to sharing the knowledge of Self-Realisation and serving seekers reflected the spirit of collective work that is central to our path Sahaja Yoga and carrying on HH Shri Mataji’s legacy.
As we reflect on the festival, we are reminded of HH Shri Mataji’s vision that Self-Realisation should be available to all who sincerely seek it. Events such as the Mind Body Spirit Festival provide valuable opportunities to reach people who are searching for a deeper meaning in life and to offer them the experience of their own inner spiritual awakening.
We thank all the Sahaja Yogi volunteers who contributed to the success of the event and look forward to welcoming many of the new seekers into our Sahaja Yoga centres and meditation programs across Australia.
“You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you.”
HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
