We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended the High Tea at Mother’s Love last weekend. A fantastic afternoon was spent all together in our wonderful Children’s Centre to celebrate it’s 25-year legacy. We reminisced and enjoyed the memories of Mother’s Love, and celebrated the collective effort that has maintained the centre and Shri Mataji’s vision.

We enjoyed delicious treats such as mini cupcakes, samosas, sausage rolls and millionaires shortbread, and of course, Aunty Pam’s famous scones! We shopped all the beautiful donations and had a very exciting bidding war for the last Mother’s Love apron, now a collector’s item! Our silent auctions were very successful with many generous bids offered, and the raffle also provided a lot of excitement. Congratulations to all the winners!

However, the best part of the day being together again,enjoying each other’s company and spending time in our beloved preschool.

We raised over $10,000 to go towards the closing costs of Mother’s Love, including donations from people who could not attend the event. This is an extremely generous amount from our community.

Thank you once again for all your support for Mother’s Love and we are so glad we got to enjoy a final High Tea with you all.
