Dear Yogis,
As this year draws towards its close, the highlight for many came towards the end of the year with the India Tour.
It was a time filled with the auspiciousness, grace, and the love and beautiful Divine blessings of Her Holiness Shri Mataji.
Sharing the journey
We are sharing a final summary of the Tour from the beginning in Delhi travelling through Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
It was a most auspicious Tour with the coming together of Yogis from Australia and New Zealand together with our Indian brothers and sisters, facilitated by the National Trust of India, Delhi Life Eternal Trust and LETA through the blessings of Shri Mataji.
There were too many, many highlights, the time we were invited to come and spent time with the family of Our Guru in their village of Shikarpur under the heavenly Bihar skies was something we will never forget.
“What is it? Why should I go?”
In Australia, before the Tour a Yuva approached, a Yogi asking:
“Uncle, I have heard about the Music of Joy Tour to India, What is it? Why should I go?”
To which the Uncle replied:
“What is the Tour? It is all about experiencing the Nirakara form of Shri Mataji for every step of this spiritual pilgrimage.
Why attend? Well, it will be the best experience of your life. It will transform you like nothing else here in Australia will.
Each day, you will be immersed in the Divine work of Our Mother, far removed from the mundane day to day matters of your normal life. It is a time when you can live and experience Sahaja Yoga every minute of every day”
The Yuva replied: “Well, I have been looking for just that kind of experience, can you sign me up”
It was the best experience ever
Upon the conclusion of the Tour, when all the Yogis returned at Christmas Puja at Balmoral, the Yuva sought out the uncle who had given him this advice which had prompted him to join the Tour and gave him a big hug, saying:
“Uncle, thank you , every word you said to me was so true. It was the best experience ever. It was all Sahaja each and every day.
My life will not be the same because of the journey we all shared together. I could feel Shri Mataji with me for the whole journey. I have learned so much about the tremendous love of Our Mother.”
Tabla player
When we were arranging this Tour, we were not able to source a local tabla player from Australia. A Yuva was keen to join the Tour and joined the Tour in Delhi.
He was enjoying everything so much. At one of the public school programs where Self realisation was given to all the children, the Yuva had a tear in his eye.
A Yogi enquired “Why be sad?”
The Yuva replied, “I am not sad, these are tears of joy. You see a long, long time ago I was one of those children who you see there sitting in the playground, Music of Joy had come to my school and they gave a Self realisation program. That was the start of my spiritual journey. I purchased all the Music of Joy tapes, listened to them all the time and they inspired me to play. It was my earnest desire and dream one day that fate would allow me to join you and play. Now my dream has been fulfilled and come true.”
We play a role
This is why we all take the time, make the sacrifices and take part in these Tours. We become part of something that is much bigger than ourselves, we play a role we will never know and we become instruments of Shri Mataji and Her work in the world. What is it to be a Sahaja Yogi than this.
