“You should ask for something that is eternal, is indestructible.”

Jai Shri Mataji!

Akshaya Tritiya is a most auspicious day, a day of eternal, never-ending prosperity and grow that its core, it points to a powerful inner truth about consciousness, dharma, and abundance. When we connect with our true self, act with awareness, and give selflessly, we enter a state of spiritual growth where nothing meaningful is ever lost.

This is traditionally observed with a Puja offered at the seaside being symbolic of purification, and of infinite flow (Akshaya) being a representation of the divine.

This is the ever-giving nature of the Almighty. The depth and vastness of the ocean remind us of the inner infinity of our spirit ; the sound of the sea helps the mind become calm and meditative. At these sacred occasions we feel both surrender and connection to the param Chaitanya.

Legends on this day

The river Ganges descended to earth, Goddess Annapurna was born, celebrates the birth of Lord Parashurama, who is the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Kubera received position as god of wealth, Lord Krishna bestowed wealth on his friend.

“You should ask for something that is eternal, is indestructible.”

“But many people think that today is the day where, whatever you ask, God has to give you. It’s true, whatever you ask, you’ll get it. But it’s just a temptation. Beyond that is eternity.

So, whatever you have to ask, you should ask for something that is eternal, indestructible.”
